American 19th Century Shaker Antique Rocking Chair

A very original antique maple wood rocking chair that is stamped by the American maker, F.W , Freegift Wells (1785-1871) Watervliet New York. A lovely design with a ladder back that features finials to the top of the back posts, the original rush seat is in very good order. All very strong and intact. A great Shaker design, all stamped by the New York maker.
