Set of 8 Good Quality Chippendale Design Dining Chairs Circa 1900

Description

These are a set of 8 chippendale design dining chairs of good heavy quality produced circa 1900 at the end of the victorian era. Consisting of 6 stand chairs and 2 carver armchairs made from solid mahogany with generous seats and ball and claw feet , they are all very sturdy with no loose joints or woodworm and the seats have been recently recovered in a faux leather that is in keeping with the style of the time, all the chairs are in good antique condition with the usual signs of expected use

The sizes are

Carver chairs height 42 inches ...106.5 cm

Width 24 1/2 inches ...62 cm

Depth 23 inches ...58.5 cm

Stand chairs height 41 inches... 104 cm

Width 22 inches ...56 cm

Depth 21 inches...53.5 cm

All the chairs have a seat height of 18 1/2 inches ...47 cm
