Black Lacquered and Gilded Single Chair

1900 - 1920
Description

Very nice quality French black lacquered chair with a gilt highlight and lovely needlepoint seat, circa 1920.

Good decorative chair, well made and very elegant.

The seat is in good condition, if the needlepoint isn't to your taste, it is a simple job to remove and replace with something more suitable.

Measuring:

33 1/3'' or 85cm high

16 1/2'' or 42cm wide

14 1/2'' or 37cm deep

17'' or 43cm seat height

Based in Uppingham, Rutland…having been in the business for 25 years focusing on mostly French and English decorative antiques and interiors from the 18th to the early 20th century, hopefully a collection you will enjoy browsing and hopefully re home some of my finds!

Viewing here in Uppingham is very welcome in my spacious barn studio but also I have a showroom based within the Uppingham Antiques Centre, which is well worth a visit and have a good lunch in town too!
