Description:
The chair displays an elegantly curved back, which are secured by wraparound arms. Below the main backrest is a curved central splat. The chair mechanism revolves 360 degrees and incorporates a height adjustment and reclining mechanism, which has been fully cleaned and serviced. The seat is connected via the revolving mechanism to the four sturdy splayed legs below, which terminate on the original brass castors. The chair is very comfortable to sit on, has a fantastic colour and it is in good condition.
Condition Report:
The chair and mechanism is in good working condition. Nominal old use marks to the leading edges of the chair but nothing significant considering the age of the item. The chair seat has been newly upholstered in top quality full grain burgundy red leather, which incorporates the traditional brass studwork tacks to the seat perimeter and traditional hessian material to the underside. Therefore, the leather is in excellent condition, with no wear, fading or damage. The reclining and adjustable height mechanism is in good working order, having just been cleaned and serviced.
