Tom Scott Antiques has dated this piece to the 1900s.

The upholstery is vintage, but in really good condition, it is a pale sage green embroidered damask and works really well with the frames...the rear of one chair, as shown in the photos, there is a water mark and small tear - this could be cleaned perhaps, or you may choose to "in fill" the rear of the seats with a matching silk...or you may choose to completely change the upholstery anyway...!

I have priced them as a pair and with the vintage upholstery as is
Good solid frames, comfortable, great size and style
Measuring:
39'' / 99cm high
29'' / 74cm wide
22'' / 56cm wide
18'' / 46cm to the top of the seat cushion

I can arrange delivery for you easily, usually around £55 to most England, Wales and Scotland addresses, but please send me your postcode if you are remote or coastal...or you are very welcome to come and collect from me in Uppingham, Rutland
