Pair of French Bleached Louis Xv Style Armchairs

Very good quality and very decorative bleached louis xv style armchairs of a generous proportion, circa 1900 and in good condition.

Brilliantly carved throughout the frames, lovely open arm style and with deep feather filled cushions, these are a good comfortable pair of armchairs.

The upholstery is vintage, but in really good condition, it is a pale sage green embroidered damask and works really well with the frames...the rear of one chair, as shown in the photos, there is a water mark and small tear - this could be cleaned perhaps, or you may choose to "in fill" the rear of the seats with a matching silk...or you may choose to completely change the upholstery anyway...!
