Set of Six William IV Satin Birch Dining Chairs

Description

A very impressive set of six William IV satin birch dining chairs raised on reeded tapering front legs. This set of antique chairs have finely carved scrolling top rails, this carving is repeated in the horizontal spats. The colour and grain of the wood is wonderful and the carving is of the highest quality. The chairs are in good condition, there is evidence of historic restoration, but this is not easily visible and the chairs are strong and stable. The seats have been recovered in a neutral linen coloured fabric that works well with any colour scheme. A really stunning set of antique dining chairs.
