fabulous mahogany ships chair with ornately carved back and scrolling carved arms, green leather seat and raised on a substantial cast iron tripod base.

with some signs of wear and tear commensurate with age and use but nothing to detract from the character and appearance of this lovely chair which would once have graced the dining room of a ship and the back still bears the number 43 !!, this is a very heavy piece and it is in good sound condition.
