French Gilded Armchair.

1900 - 1920
Description

This French gilded armchair is in superb condition. It has its original gilding including the decorative burnished highlights with only a few signs of wear. It has been traditionally upholstered with a coil sprung seat & horsehair padding. The fabric is a floral woven brocade in excellent order apart from some wear on the arms. The chair has a lovely mellow look.
