Original Victorian Deep Seated Howard Style Armchair Circa 1880

19th century
Description

Unique deep seated howard style armchair/library chair, standing on mahogany turned legs finished with brass castors, we think this wonderful fabric is the original and it has never been recovered...it is in a tatty, holey and stained condition but a stunning printed cotton, it could possibly be cleaned and repaired or re-covered to suit your own decor...possibly saving some of this wonderful fabric for perhaps a cushion. It is also amazingly comfortable.

Seat height is 38 cm
