Lovely antique george 111 country oak rocking chair c1780

A lovely george 111 country oak ladder back rocking chair and dating from around 1780. Constructed from solid oak it has a six shaped ladder back rest with turned armrests on low turned front supports. It has a rush seat and is supported on turned legs on a rocker joined by turned stretchers.

It is hand & peg joined

A lovely george 111 rocking chair with a superb shape in very good condition and oozes the charm and character of the period in which it was made and I am sure that whoever buys this will be very pleased with their purchase.

Measurements: 39" high X seat height 16" X 18" deep X 21" wide
