Description

Lovely antique victorian mahogany chippendale open library armchair c1880

A lovely victorian mahogany open library armchair in the manner of chippendale and dating from aorund 1880. Constructed from solid mahogany it has a carved serpentine shaped top rail above a central pierced vase shaped back splat with shaped arms on a curved support. It has a drop in velvet seat pad and stands on beautiful cabriole legs on claw and ball feet.

A superb chippendale chair in very good condition and oozes the charm and character of the period in which it was made and I am sure that whoever buys this will be very pleased with their purchase.

Measurements: 39" high X seat height 18" X 23" deep X 25" wide
