Description

A very nice campaign travelling mahogany mirror which folds completely away to protect it whilst the military were on their travels. There is a brass hook at the top of the case which opens the mirror up. The mirror can be stood up on a surface or hung from a wall.

When standing on the surface the outer mahogany case acts like a tray, when closed it is a protective case for the mirror.

It measures 18.5cm in length when closed and 11.4cm in width and 1cm h.

When open the height is 17.5cm, but can be tilted to various heights.

A great piece of history

Lovely mellow colour to the mahogany. C1830
