Description

This is a most appealing armchair in the traditional Howard style which dates from the late 19th century. The base of the chair has a most attractive curved shape echoed in the shape of the upholstered arms. The gilded frame has an attractive turned design with original porcelain castors to the legs. The quality of the upholstery is second to none, with the chair having beautiful fine pleating all around the seat and attractive buttoning throughout. This is upholstered in a chenille type fabric which is a tasteful soft jade colour. The chair is in execllent order throughout and measures 82 cms high 70 cms wide by 75 cms deep. The seat height is 33 cms with a seat depth of 60 cms and 56 cms between the arms.
