Mahogany Wall Mirror, Circa 1885

The finely moulded frame surmounted by a broken arch pediment with central paterae. Sourced directly from Royal Holloway University and now offered in excellent condition. Although not stamped, this mirror was most likely made by Maple & Co. who were commissioned to supply furniture to Royal Holloway University.
 
Provenance, acquired directly from Royal Holloway University of London, commissioned by Thomas Holloway and opened by Queen Victoria in 1886. Forming part of the last original Founders furniture ever likely to be decommissioned from this fantastic building.
