Fine and decorative late C19th Italian 'verre eglomise' Venetian mirror with detailed engraving and gilded highlights and edges .

High quality Venetian mirror with central bevel-edged rectangular plate and elaborate over-stepped multi-plate shaped crest . The engraving featuring cornucopia and floral designs and with gilded verre eglomise detail. Each corner mounted with a flower-head motif plate .

Some of the applied plates to the lower part of the surmount with some cracks and some minor losses to the pressed glass floral screw-head covers.

Superb decorative mirror with the presence and appearance of an important and palatial C17th Venetian baroque looking-glass.

The reverse with solid original frame and boards .
