A fine late Regency or William IV period Mahogany pier mirror in amazing original condition. The mirror is of typical Regency form with side column supports and frieze pediment top. The side supports are turned half columns terminating in circular bosses. The pediment top has a beautiful frieze of flame mahogany with a large overhanging pediment with egg and dart moulding. The whole is in excellent original condition with a superb colour and patina. The mirror plate is also the original and has a wonderful degraded foxed look to it. A hugely decorative and fine provincial country house antique mirror. C.1830.
