A good looking overmantel mirror with original glass and striking black Lacquer frame with gilded decoration in the manner of the aesthetic movement of the late nineteenth century It has its original backboards and looking glass. There are a few marks to the silvering but generally in excellent condition

Beneath the boards is a Liverpool newspaper for 1880
