Each chair has a curved top rail with ebony and boxwood inlay above a central beautifully carved lyre back splat with striking bird’s eye maple centres. The chairs have splayed back legs, beautifully turned front legs and early brown leather seats with a stud trim. The chairs have the usual charm, character, restorations as you expect to see with genuine antiques and are a rich medium mahogany colour with a striking grain, good patina, are in very good condition and have been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
