Beautiful French Gilt Overmantel Mirror 19th Century

Description

This is a very attractive French overmantel mirror dating from around 1870. The frame is beautifully embelished with flower and leaf moulded detail which retains its original gilded finish. The large central mirror is the original glass plate in good clean condition. The mirror retains its original backing board.

The mirror measures 112 cms high by 74 cms wide.

Rams Head Antiques is a family business based in Wolsingham in Weardale where we have had shop premises for 28 years. The shop is generally open every Saturday from 11 am till 3 pm.
