A very decorative and charming late Regency period gilt pier mirror. The mirror is typical of the period with carved side pilasters mirrored in the freise and rosettes to the pediment. The mirror retians the original gilding which has some wear to it that gives it a great faded look. The mirror plate is the original and very foxed to a wonderful dull colour. The whole has a great faded country house look. C.1830.
