Early 18th Century Walnut Cushion Mirror

Description

Good early 18th century walnut cushion frame mirror. The cushion frame is made from cross grain walnut and is all original with no repairs. The mirror retains its original oak back boards beneath brown paper. The mirror plate is old but hard to say for sure if it is the original one. The mirror is a nice mellow colour with waxed finish.

The mirror originally had a top cresting which is now missing as you can see the dovetail key slots in the top.

SIZE; 16" wide by 24" tall. The mirror plate is 11 1/2" wide by 20 1/2" tall.
