Beautiful French Gilt Overmantel Mirror 19th Century

1900 - 1920
Description

This is a very attractive French overmantle mirror dating from around the turn of the century, circa 1900. The frame is beautifully embellished with leaf moulded detail and beading which retains its delightful rich gilded finish in beautiful original condition. The large arched central mirror is the original glass plate which is in remarkably clean condition. The mirror retains its original backing board.

The mirror measures 106 cms high by 72 cms wide.

Rams Head Antiques is a family business based in Wolsingham in Weardale where we have had shop premises for 28 years. The shop is generally open every Saturday from 11 am till 3 pm.
