Standing on four turned legs with a crinoline stretcher, this delightful chair is full of beautiful charm and character and old repairs, as one would expect and consistent with age, adding to its character and authenticity. The oak and elm has aged to a warm golden shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
