A hugely characterful leather and oak wing armchair. The design is very much Charles II or William and Mary with the turned front legs and carved cross rail and the whole shape is very of that period too, but would date to the twenties. The whole is in very good usable condition. The leather has a great tan colour and patina and only has one or two holes etc. The black velvet pad cushion looks to be original too. The whole has a great tired country house look and would be a decorators dream. C.1920.
