An Interesting Gothic Oak Wall Mirror

19th century
Description

A 19thC oak arch topped wall mirror .It is purpose made and not a conversion from another use.A deeply moulded frame influenced by the gothic style. Its origin is unknown but it could well have been made for a religious setting. Victorian and circa 1880. The glass is good and looks to be original. Very heavy iron hanging hook. The rear of the sides is rounded and not finished flat.
