Description

A good pair of Gillows elbow chairs with shield shaped backs and particularly good centre splats. Inlaid with harebells, scrolls, foliage,vines,urns and cornucopia in satinwood, boxwood and various stained woods. The shaped open arms with boxwood stringing and the bow fronted front rails supported by pointed cabriole legs, the backs with outswept supports. Condition- Very good with original patina and upholstery. One chair stamped Gillows the other with no. 80033 underneath. Ideal for a hallway or bedroom. Sizes:- Max.Height...33.5''...85cm. Seat Height...15''...38cm. Width...21''...53cm. Depth...18.5''...47cm. Delivery to most of U.K. mainland £45.
