This impressive chair is in English oak and is finely carved, the design and expert craftsmanship bear all the hallmarks of Gillows, hence our attribution. The chair is also very well upholstered in pale brown leather which is both deep buttoned and brass nailed. In very good and original condition. 1080mm high, 720mm wide, 685mm deep and 470mm seat height. Circa 1860
