Georgian Gilt Girandole Mirror

19th century
Description

Circa 1800, Georgian gilt girandole oval-shaped mirror. With beaded decorations around the original mirror plate which has a degree of foxing. There are very elaborate gilt floral decorations to the top and it continues around to the sides. The base has a large two-branch scrolled candelabra surrounded by wheatsheaf and naturalistic leaf decorations.
