RARE pair of early to mid 19th century SOLID CALLAMANDER chairs, probably Anglo Indian. This very decorative pair of chairs is like nothing I have ever seen before as far as design is concerned. Beautifully carved throughout with cabriole type front legs and swept back legs. Nice shape arm with carved and moulded decoration. Drop in seats and upholstered back panels both beautifully done to a high standard.

Although slightly Chinese looking I am pretty sure these are not from China but Anglo Indian or similar. I have taken plenty of pictures of them.

I can't see any repair or damage other than the odd shrinkage crack here and there.
