Victorian Walnut Revolving Office Chair

Description

Circa 1870, large Victorian walnut revolving office chair. The padded back has deep buttons and the padded arms are supported on two turned uprights at the front and a shaped splat at the back. The large seat is solid, shaped and scooped. The chair is supported on a circular metal pedestal on 4 shaped cabriole legs finishing on brass tipped castors. It has been traditionally reupholstered in deep red leather.
