A good French pier mirror dating to the mid nineteenth century. The mirror is very classical in design with simple reeded edges bound by ribbons and an upper section framed by finely moulded acanthus trefoils. The whole is in excellent untouched condition with fine bright typically French gilding. This type of mirror was made for the narrow piers between windows to reflect light back into the room. The mirror is in great condition, ready to hang.
