The chair seat has been newly upholstered with top quality full grain sage green leather, which has been finished with hand-tacked studs to the perimeter of the seat. The shaped splayed legs sit on the original brass and ceramic mug castors. The chair rotates 360 degrees; the seat height can be adjusted by turning a ribbed metal screw on the underside of the chair. The chair also features a reclining action. The chair is extremely comfortable as it features a leather seat and shaped backrest. The chair displays a mellow golden oak colour, having been cleaned and polished in our workshops.
Condition Report:
The chair and mechanism is in good working condition. Nominal old use marks to the leading edges of the chair but nothing significant considering the age of the item. The chair seat has been newly upholstered with a top quality full grain sage green leather, which incorporates the traditional brass studwork tacks to the seat perimeter and traditional hessian material to the underside. The reclining and adjustable height mechanism is in good working order, having just been cleaned and serviced. There is some play to the mechanism but this is perfectly acceptable, and in line, with the age of the chair. The chair features a mellow golden oak colour, having been cleaned and polished in our workshops. The chair features its original castors, which are also in good condition. This item is solid in joint and ready to use.
