Antique Painted Rosewood Armchair. Circa 1850.

Description

A very nice decorative antique armchair, upholstered in a dusky lavender chenille fabric. This antique armchair is solid rosewood with later paint and features a deep buttoned back, scrolled carved arms, carved cabriole legs, finishing with the original antique castors. The front rail is serpentine in shape. The condition of this pretty antique armchair is very good, the frame is very strong, no wobbles. The internal upholstery is in great original form and the top cover of quality lavender chenille has just been applied. An eye catching, unusual antique armchair dating fron the mid-victorian period.

Dimensions: 65cm wide. 74cm deep. 84cm high.
