A very elegant mahogany Regency desk chair of excellent quality.
C1820.
Elegant design, having an acanthus carved top rail, wonderful scrolling arms, leather and brass stud seat, over turned and reeded front supports.
Generous in size.
Very solid, sturdy and strong.
The condition is excellent antique condition, with expected but minimal signs of use. The mahogany has developed a lovely warm characterful patina. The leather is in excellent un-worn condition,again with warmth and character.
The dimensions are.
Height-89cm. Height to top of seat-45cm.
Width-57cm measured to the width of the arm rests.
Depth-50cm.
