Chinoiserie Armchair

1900 - 1920
Description

Black and gilt lacquer armchair with Chinoiserie decoration, the latticework sides inset with decorative panels. The cane back is in very good condition and the two cushions are covered in a black and gold fabric with dragon and cloud design. The structure is sound and the upholstery in good condition. There is a little wear to the decoration on the upper arms as can be seen in one of the images. English circa. 1920
