Fine Set of 12 (10 & 2 ) Regency Mahogany Dining Chairs on Sabre Legs

Description

Fine Set of 12 (10 & 2 ) Regency Mahogany Dining Chairs on Sabre Legs. The bowed inset top rails with figured veneer having ebony outline stringing over mid rail with U shaped gadrooned rail over flared reeded rail with central carved 4 leaf clover with ebonised diamond centre. All held by reeded uprights running into the side seat rails. Reeded scrolled arms with swirled roundel appliques to outer sides on shaped square supports. The shaped front rails supporting leather upholstered liftout seats each fixed by 2 screws. All on reeded sabre front legs and swept back legs.

Several seat rails pencil signed Mr Dundafs esq and stamped either TV or IM
