A very unsual and decorative dressing or shaving mirror. The mirror stands on a base of cast brass with flowers. The central stem is telescopic allowing the height of the mirror to be altered. The circular top is positionable and the glass is original. This is a unsual piece and might have been for a dressing room to try hats on, hence the telescopic centre. The whole is in great country house condition. C.1900.
