Set of 4 William IV Rosewood Bar Back Dining Chairs

Description

Set of 4 William IV rosewood bar back dining chairs.

Date from C1835 with great mellon fluted legs.

Solid, heavy and strong with no loose joints.

Recent upholstery in a heavy weight upholstery fabric, with a natural, light oatmeal colour.

Overall maximum dimensions:

48cm wide, 50cm deep, 86cm high (45cm high seat when sat on).

Some historic extinct woodworm holes that we have treated for good measure. Some historic repairs as one would expect, but all is good and strong now. The shaped upholstered seat pads are a later 19th Century addition and laid over the top of the original tired cane seats.
