Arts and Crafts Copper Mirror

A fine quality Arts and Crafts copper wall mirror with Ruskin type plaque. The mirror has a great look and is of a very good quality. The finish of the copper is hammered or planished and is typical of the movement. The sides are embossed with fruit, which are most likely to be pomegranates which were a favoured symbol of the Arts and Crafts. The mirror is fitted to the top with the most beatiful turquoise colour inset most closely associated with the work of Ruskin. The mirror is not marked but the design and manufacture is typical of others retailed Liberty's of London. C.1900.
