Set of 6 early C19th Regency period mahogany sabre-leg dining chairs.

Elegant set of Regency mahogany dining chairs with shaped top rail with carved scroll-work and flower-head details . The back with twin lumbar rails fitted with ball decoration .

The frames with carved reeded detail throughout . Raised on reeded front sabre-shaped supports .

Shaped drop-in seats retaining their apparently original needle-work covers.

Good quality grade of mahogany which has achieved a pleasing rich patina . In good original condition with only minor historic repairs.

The chairs have been checked , cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Ready to use .
