Description

A good Captains chair, or smokers bow as they are sometimes called, that is in very nice condition with the French polish refinished, This example has a nicely turned leg with twin support stretchers between them. The seat is well shaped for comfort, these are a chair that is most useable. The arms as can be seen in the pictures are shaped to give a most satisfying feel in ones hand as there are not sharp edges on the arm tops.

A really great 19th Century chair, very nice and clean and ready for use. Seat height is 17ins

seat depth 19ins. A chair that goes well with a desk, good for reading or even at your dining table.
