Rare 17th Century Oak and Leather Chair

Description

RARE late 17th century oak hall chair with leather seat and back. Turned front legs with square back legs, the legs united by substantial square stretchers. The beautiful patinated brown leather is complimented with the large brass dome fixings. It is obviously very hard to say for sure if the leather is original but if it is not, it has definitely been on since Georgian times.

The chair is a lovely colour with original patination and waxed finish.

SIZE; 18 1/2" across the front. 17" deep and 35" high
