Description

An almost identical pair of high back Windsor Armchairs in Yew Wood the seats are Elm and back legs are Ash, these chairs are probably from the Workshops of Benjamin Gilling of Worksop circa 1840 to 60. The condition is excellent they have a lovely warm colour and patination with very strong yew markings, a good pair of rare chairs .
