Large & Decorative 19thc French Gilt and Painted Mirror in the Louis XVI Style

A large late 19th century highly decorative French gilt and painted mirror in the Louis XVI style.

The mirror has a central cresting to the top consisting of a floral wreath with ribbon, torch and quiver & arrow decoration with foliage below.

This leads down to the frame, painted in an eau de Nil tone with applied floral gilt decoration leading onto gilt ball bead decoration.

The mirror retains the original glass plate being in good condition for age, with slight foxing - some images have been obscured for photographic reasons.

To the reverse the mirror has original back boards with Paris stamp.

This mirror is in very good original condition for age and can go straight into a home.
