Matched Set of 8 19th Cent Dinning Chairs

Description

Here we have a well matched set of 8 oak dinning chairs. They are a most unusual design and very stylish. They all have the initials S & P (or maybe P & S) inlaid into the top rail. On two it is raised and on the other six it is flush (see pictures)

They are in need of some restoration as follows:

• They mostly have loose joints

• One back leg is broken and has an old iron repair

• There are some small buttons missing from the backs

• There are some chips of the bottom of the legs

• The upholstery is all there but a bit rough

When done they will make a very stylish and unusual set of chairs

The maximum dimensions are:

44cm (17“) wide

84cm (33“) high

52cm (20.5“) deep
