A beautiful and unusual 19th century Giltwood mirror, This triple plate oval having a centre section with an ornate and intricate decoration of foliage, flanked by 2 oval mirror plates with arched surrounds and bead decoration, The whole with acanthus leaf mounts to both top and bottom. Retaining the original mirror plates, the surround with superb aged gilding, good colour and in excellent antique condition throughout. This highly versatile shaped mirror would equally well as a Overmantle or wall mirror. English, Circa 1865
