Miles Griffiths Antiques Ltd has dated this piece to the 19th Century.
Both are in superb, original condition, the corner armchairs are a generous size, they are traditionally upholstered, all the innards are intact and strong, just requiring a new top fabric. All the show wood is solid mahogany which is a lovely, original colour and the legs finish in the original, top quality cup castors. A good looking pair of English antique upholstered armchairs that date from the William the Fourth period, around 1835.
