18th Century George III Walnut Vauxhall Mirror

Description

Good clean, generous size, 18th century George III walnut and gilt Vauxhall mirror. The mirror frame is in very good original condition with all the original shaped side ears, shaped top and shaped base. Veneered in walnut with cross grain walnut mirror surround with gilt slip. Nice shape carved and gilded central motif to the top. The mirror has an old beveled plate but probably not the original, I think it is a 19th century plate. The mirror has the original back.

Gorgeous colour and patination.
