Description

A most attractive example of a 19th century archtop mirror which can be used as an overmantel or as a general-purpose wall mirror. The beautifully gilded frame has a beaded sight edge and raised cushion-moulded section adorned with a delicate floral etched detailing. The backing boards are original as is the mercury glass plate which has an abundance of character and a rich, warm reflection. This stunning mirror dates from c.1875 – c.1900.
