This good quality and well-made GEORGIAN STYLE MAHOGANY CLUB or DESK CHAIR dates from circa 1900.

It is stamped with the Maker's initials 'F.S.' to the inside leg.

The double stretchers fit beautifully into the cabriole legs and, as well as being aesthetically pleasing, they give the whole chair greater strength.

The seat is sprung and the chair is very comfortable to sit in providing support in all the right places.
